The Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing celebrates each student’s completion of the program and other student achievements via a joint Pinning and Awards Ceremony. The event is held once a year, usually in the spring.

The Pinning Ceremony is a time-honored tradition within the nursing profession. The Pinning Ceremony dates before the turn of the 20^th century and marks a graduate’s passing from student to practicing nurse. It is a symbolic welcoming of graduates to the profession.

The Awards Ceremony recognizes students who have received Saskatchewan Polytechnic and University of Regina Nursing awards, scholarships and bursaries.
